Firehouse floor
In Progress
The Firehouse floor was 7000 square feet. The original floor had approximately 3000 l.f. of cracks and spalled concrete around much of the center drain. We routed out all of the cracks and pathched them with a 2 part epoxy paste. Most of the spalls went down into the drain so we formed up those areas and poured them back to original with a rapid set, high strength repair mortar. The entire slab area was cleaned with diamond grinding. We then applied 2 coats of 100% solid epoxy. After the Line stripeing and drain covers were painted the floor was ready for service.
