Pressure Grouting

Tank Grout

At PCS we have extensive experience with several types of pressure grouting.
Pressure grouting can be used for soil, equipment or structure stabilization. We also do epoxy and urethane injection for fixing cracks and sealing leaks in concrete.

Compaction grouting

Compaction grouting involves injecting grout at high pressure which pushes weak soil to the side as it forms a grouted column. At PCS we use this form of grouting for re-leveling slabs, filling voids and construction underpinning.

Penetration Grouting

Penetration Grouting is mainly used to fill joints or fractures in rock or large pore spaces in order to strengthen the existing mass and eliminate movement or waterflow, without disturbing the formation. It requires a slurry mix design of water, Portland cement, fly ash, sand or any combination thereof. Epoxy injection

Soil Stabilization

Epoxy injection is a system for welding cracks back together. This welding restores the original strength and loading capabilities designed into the concrete. In most conditions it makes the concrete as good as new. It creates an impervious seal to air, water chemicals, debris, and other contamination.

Urethane Injection

Urethane Crack Injection is used to treat water leakage at joints or cracks. After
injection into a joint or crack, the urethane grout reacts with water and expands, creating
a tight, permanent seal against water flow.

Benifits of Grouting

Pressure grouting is a lot less expensive than the alterative which usually involves demolition of the existing structure and starting over. Pressure grouting can usually be done without disruption of adjacent activities.
